Purpose of the guide
Enable users to better understand how dynamic distribution lists work.
Some remarks
The structured section allows you to reach only the teachers who have been included in the GAGI school management application and the secretarial staff.
The data coming from GAGI is updated every night, so that the list of users is always updated.
There are two types of users in the structured address book:
- those who can send a message to more than 50 people at the same time and who can access any level of the address book (they are, generally, the administrative users of the DECS offices, the secretarial staff, the members of the school management);
- the other users, who can send messages to no more than 50 people at the same time and who access only the school sector or sectors in which they operate (for example: Middle Schools).
The structured rubric should only be used for profession-related purposes.
Each operation is monitored: the name of the user who created a distribution list, the name of the list, the number of addresses, the date and time of creation are stored.
Remember again that the distribution lists created have a life span of one hour: once the time has elapsed they are no longer valid and must be recreated. For this reason, it makes no sense to save the addresses of the distribution lists created: they must be created when the need for sending arises.
