Purpose of the guide
This guide explains how to make or check for updates for the Microsoft Teams application.
Desktop
The desktop app is updated automatically (so it's not necessary). If you want, you can still check for updates by selecting the Settings and more menu ( 1 ) next to your profile picture in the top right corner of Teams and then selecting Check for updates ( 2 ). 
Note
- The web app is always up to date
- Linux users are unable to manually update within Teams right now
Mobile devices
To update the Teams mobile app, download and install it again from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store .
