Add guest users to a Group Chat

Purpose of the guide

Instructs users how to add guests to a group chat

Prerequisites

  • The user we wish to contact must have an email address associated with a Microsoft 365 account
  • The guest user must have already been added to the system for hours.

Add guest users to a Group Chat

In a group chat you can easily add guest users in the same way as you add internal users ( see guide ).

The only precaution is that the guest user has been added, as reported in the “ Talking to guest users ” guide, in the system hours before. It could take up to 24 hours.
